Getting ready for the ACM 2008 Meeting
We received very good news today. Our abstract to the ACM 2008 meeting on "Numerical Simulations of Efficient Search Strategies for Near Earth Objects Surveys" has been accepted in the NEO surveys and hazards section. This means that your computers will be very busy in the next two months, as soon as version 1.2x of SurveySimulator is deployed and tested. As mentioned before, we should start testing version 1.20 within the next ten days.
It is curious that I'm writing about this while I'm still in Washington DC for the AISR PI meeting, and the ACM meeting is going to take place only minutes away from here. I'm glad they're giving us an opportunity to talk about this project, its potential, and its initial results to the fine audience of the ACM meeting.
